Festival Mondial de la Bière in Montréal
The 24th edition of the Festival Mondial de la Bière (Montréal Beer Fest) takes place June 14 through 18, 2017, in the Palais des congrès de Montréal (Montréal Convention Center), 1001 Jean-Paul-Riopelle Place, Montréal, Québec, Canada.
That is the place where beer lovers, both neophytes and connoisseurs, meet to learn while they quaff. Whether it’s through meeting with the brewers, conferences, classes at the MBeer school of beerology or workshops on beer and food pairings, discoveries abound.
Hours are noon to 11 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday. Entrance is free; tasting coupons are $1 (that’s $1 Canadian, of course). Most beers “cost” from two to eight coupons in quantities of two to eight ounces.
