Popcorn Café in Kokomo, Indiana
Your Road Trips Foodie confesses a sweet spot that can only be satisfied with sugary popcorn.
Visitors to last week’s Indiana Tourism Development event were treated to samples from Popcorn Café, 1108 East Markland Avenue, Kokomo, Indiana. My choice? Zebra Drizzle. No, no — not the golden-showers-type-of-drizzle, but the luscious dark chocolate kind (whatever were you thinking?).
Zebra Drizzle is just one of the fifty (50!) different flavors of popcorn on offer. Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookie, anyone? How about Irish Cream Candy, Cinnamon Candy, Strawberry Cheesecake or Thin Mint Chocolate Cookie (the photo, above left, shows “Rainbow” – a medley of candy flavors)?
If you prefer savory, they do have Pizza, Loaded Baked Potato, and Bacon Cheddar too.
