Louisville Goes Bourbon & Beyond

Well, of course Louisville, Kentucky, would host a Bourbon & Beyond Festival — the only question is: why did it take them so long?
The new fest is set for September 23 and 24, 2017, with a lineup of chefs, bourbon experts and musicians.
The festival will showcase more than 50 Kentucky bourbons through activities such as:
- The Big Bourbon Bar: A 20,000-square-foot bar featuring bourbon cocktails
- The Hunter’s Club: Experimental, rare, and hard-to-find bourbons.
- The Bourbon Barrel Cooperage: A behind-the-scenes look at how coopers craft the oak barrels used to age bourbon.
- The Distillery: An interactive experience to discover the life of a master blender, taster, and distiller.
- Bourbon Workshops: Distilling, bartending, pairing, and cooking workshops.
There’ll also be various dining options including a Gospel brunch and a supper club. Two stages of live music are in the works.
