Gin Festival in Wales
Here’s something new, Road Trips Foodies: a Gin Festival in Wales in May.
The artisan gin movement across Wales and its borders will be showcased at the first-ever Mid Wales Gin Festival, set for May 27, 2017, in The Pavilion, Llandrindod Wells, Wales. The afternoon session is 12:30 to 5 p.m., and the evening session is 6L30 to 11 p.m.
More than 30 small-batch gins from 20 local distilleries will be on offer. Producers will be on hand to explain the gin-making process and describe the local foraging for botanicals and there will be a gin still on display. The festival also will mark the launch of a new distillery, Copper Parrot, in Llandrindod Wells.
Tickets for either the afternoon or evening session are £9.08.
