Apple Pie Trail
Heading to Ontario, Canada, Road Trips Foodies? Here’s a route to try: the Apple Pie Trail.
Between April 1 and August 31, 2017, you can visit more than 40 culinary, artisan and historical sites in a region of Canada that’s been famous for its apples since the 1800s. (You’ll find the towns listed, including Creemore, Collingwood and Meaford, a bit north of Toronto along the southern shore of Georgian Bay.)
Stop for an apple cider at Creemore 100 Mile Store, Ida Frozen to the Core Dessert Wine at Oliver & Bonacini Cafe and Grill in Blue Mountain Village, an apple crumble muffin at Blackbird Pie Company in Heathcote, or any of dozens more apple goodies.
