Alabama Strawberry Festival

What could be better than a celebration of fresh strawberries? No admission charge to the fair, of course. The family-friendly Strawberry Festival at the Downtown Square, Moulton, Alabama, takes place May 5 and 6, 2017. Festival hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. May 5 and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. May 6.
In addition to berries there’s the fun stuff: mud volleyball tournament, live music children’s activity center, the Strawberry Paws Pageant (for dogs), 5K and 1-mile fun Run, and a show of artwork from Moulton Middle School students.
It’s sponsored by Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce and Moulton Baptist Church.
