Pennsylvania Maple Festival
The 70th annual Pennsylvania Maple Festival takes place over two weekends. The dates are March 25 and 26, 2017, plus March 29 through April 2, 2017 — all at the Festival Park, 120 Meyers Avenue, Meyersdale, Pennsylvania.
The event celebrates spring, making maple syrup from local trees and the heritage of the Laurel Highlands area.
Highlights include the chance to watch how maple syrup is produced and the chance to taste it on pancakes. There also will be a grand parade, artists and craftsmen at work, a quilt show, horse-pulling contest, antique tractors, and primitive camping program.
