A French Truffle and Wine Festival
The Ampélofolies du Cabardès takes place January 22, 2017, in Moussoulens, Aude, France.
It’s the largest truffle- and wine-based festival and gastronomic day in the region of Languedoc-Roussillon. (This is its 18th year.)
A number of events are planned: wine and truffle “walks” in carriages, a truffle recipe competition, a demonstration of truffle excavation, a market of local produce and wines, tastings and conferences.
However, the highlight is undoubtedly the opening of the great truffle market at 2:30 p.m. that afternoon.
