Experience Bourbon in Indiana’s Brown County
Have you ever sampled bourbon right from the barrel? That’s one of the tasty treats awaiting Road Trips Foodies who head to Indiana’s Brown County next month.
A “Bourbon Experience” is set for 6 to 9 p.m. both January 13 and 14, 2016, in the Bear Wallow Distillery, 4484 East Old State Road 46, Gnaw Bone, Indiana.
They’ve had ’em before, but this is the first for evening hours. It’ll include dinner and samples of premium bourbons.
Participants will learn the history of bourbon, see how it’s made and sample several different American Whiskey styles including Bear Wallow’s Hoosier Hooch Corn Whiskey, Gnaw Bone Bourbon Whiskey, Liar’s Bench Rye Whiskey, and the new Four Grain Wolf Creek Whiskey. They’ll also sample bourbon right out of the aging barrels and will have the option to hand wax dip their very own bottle of Gnaw Bone Bourbon (at additional cost).
Cost is $50 per person and includes; extended distillery tour, class materials, a Bourbon-themed dinner, a cocktail and all samples. Needless to add, you must be over 21 to participate.
