The Georgia Apple Festival

Road Trips Foodies have two weekends to get to the 2016 Apple Festival at the Ellijay Lions Club Fairgrounds, 1729 South Main Street, Ellijay, Georgia.
The first chance is this weekend (October 8 and 9, 2016) and the second is next weekend (October 15 and 16, 2016).
Hours on Saturdays are 9 a.m. to 6 p.., and on Sundays, 9 am. to 5 p.m.
Just in case you’re wondering: yes, the apples sold will be from Ellijay.
The fest, now in its 45th year, includes food, crafts and music. Some 300 vendors of hand-made, hand-crafted items are expected (and many will demonstrate their skills).
