The New York City Wine & Food Festival takes place October 13 through 16, 2016, in (no surprise) New York City.
Sure, the events are pricey (this is New York after all) but in eight years so far, the fest has raised $9.5 million to help fight hunger: 100% of the net proceeds benefit the No Kid Hungry® campaign and Food Bank For New York City.
NYCWFF showcases the talents of wine and spirits producers, chefs, culinary personalities and television chefs. There are wine tastings, chef demonstrations, educational seminars, late-night parties, dinners and hands-on classes. (Th whole agenda is online.)
