Road Trips Foodies who are mushroom foragers might want to put October 25, 2015, on their calendars.
That’s the date for the annual Mount Pisgah Arboretum Mushroom Festival in Eugene, Oregon. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
It spotlights the richness of Oregon mushrooms with cooking demonstrations, plant, mushroom and art sales, guided nature walks and food from local vendors. Kids will love the hayrides, apple pressing and arts and crafts.
Mt. Pisgah Arboretum is located at 34901 Frank Parrish Road, Eugene, Oregon — tucked into the larger Lane County Park called the Howard Buford Recreation Area.
