Where to Eat Breakfast: On Board
Your Road Trips Foodie has a confession to make: there’s nothing she enjoys more than room service breakfast — especially when the alternative is a buffet.
One feels so cosseted when a smartly-attired waiter carries in a tray filled with exactly everything one has ordered (in my case, my splurge is poached eggs).
This lavish breakfast tray was served up for me on board Holland-America’s Eurodam as we cruised in Scandinavia. I could take it out onto my balcony and survey the scenery at my leisure. What a great way to start the day!
Here’s the whole tray (yes, I indulged in an English muffin and a bran muffin — that’s a fried potato triangle on the plate with the tiny pieces of toast and a garnish of pineapple and parsley).
