Two Hop Beer Fests in Oregon

There are not one but two beer festivals celebrating the hops harvest in Oregon.
The 15th annual Hop & Heritage Festival takes place September 18 and 19, 2015, in Independence, Oregon — which was once the hops capital of the world. There’ll be a homebrew competition, live music, a pie-eating contest and two beer gardens pouring Oregon craft beer.
The following weekend, Septoberfest is set for September 26, 2015, at Seven Brides Brewing in Silverton, Oregon. The 5th annual fest features fresh hop beers from 18 Oregon breweries.
