The 33rd annual Catfish Festival takes place this weekend in downtown Kingsland, Georgia.
Events on Friday (September 4, 2015) are festive, while those on Saturday (September 5, 2015) are tastier.
The Lions Club Pancake breakfast (7 to 11 a.m. Saturday) does not involve catfish — which will be served from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday.
Kingsland is in far southeastern Georgia, between the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge and the Atlantic Ocean.
