If you’re headed across the pond, Road Trips Foodies, here’s a food festival you may want to check out next month. It takes place in Lancastershire, England
The Clitheroe Food Festival, set for August 8, 2015, brings together more than 100 of the region’s food and drink purveyors in the town center for a huge street buffet of food and drink. You’ll find meat from traditional Lancashire breeds and organic dairy produce including milk, cheese, yogurt and ice-cream, to handmade pies and pastries and a feast of locally grown fruit and vegetables.
The festival is free, but there are ticketed extras like chef demonstrations, workshops, talks, mini wine schools, plus coffee, chocolate and cheese tastings.
