canada_ontario_taste-of-torontoRoad Trips Foodies pointing their cars towards Ontario have a treat in store.

Taste of Toronto is July 2 through 5, 2015, in Fort York, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Eateries from well-established restaurants to newcomers are among the 70 dining establishments that are featured.

There are chef demonstrations and master classes, tastings of food and wine, a chef’s table and producers’ market, but don’t miss the Taste of History (pictured). An 1815 Officers Mess Establishment will be open from noon to 4 p.m. Friday, and noon to 5 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday. It’ll showcase the table settings, furnishings, dining customs and mess lifestyle of British Officers stationed at Fort York during the year 1815.

Tickets are available online.
