Attention Road Trips Foodies heading to Belgium: there’s a new beer festival at the end of this month.
It’s the Innovation Beer Festival, set for May 24 and 25, 2015, at the former ‘De Hoorn’ brewery in Leuven (this is where the first Stella Artois was brewed “a long time ago”).
Featured are 75 different beers from 16 breweries in eight different countries — beer from all over the world. The festival will offer lectures about innovation for beer lovers who want to keep abreast of the latest developments in the world of beers (and who doesn’t want to do that?). Of course, fluency in Flemish might be required.
