Here’s a new event to entice Road Trips Foodies planning to be in California for Memorial Day weekend. the first Burger & Brew Fest is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 23, 2015, on Liberty Street between Capitol and Walnut in downtown Freemont, California.
The event will feature beer sampling from Bay Area craft breweries, wine, burgers and sliders from local food vendors and restaurants, live entertainment, a kid zone, and bistro style seating areas.
Attendance is free. If you want to sample the beer, tickets will be $30 (cash only) for a dozen four-ounce samples. Burgers and sliders will be sold separately.
It’s sponsored by the Fremont Chamber of Commerce.
