Toer de Geuze
If Belgian beer is your favorite, Road Trips Foodies, consider heading across the pond for the Toer de Geuze in Pajottenland, Belgium.
It’s the 10th edition of this biennial event, set for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 3, 2015. You can do the tour with own means of transport (car, bike, scooter), or you can reserve a seat on one of the Toer de Geuze busses.
The lambic breweries and gueuze blending houses open their doors to the public with free guided tours and a chance to sample lambic, gueuze, kriek and other lambic beers.

The Toer de Geuze was organized for the first time in 1997. Boon, De Cam, De Troch, 3 Fonteinen, Lindemans and Timmermans opened their doors for the public. Since then the open brewery day of the Payottenland and the Valley of the Senne has become a biannual event. It’s sponsored by the High Council for Artisanal Lambic Beers (Hoge Raad voor Ambachtelijke Lambikbieren).
