Wildflower Weekend Dinner in Indianapolis

Wildflower Dinner, Eagle Creek Park, Indianapolis, IndianaJessica Helmbold, Amos Butler Audubon Society Education Chair and Indy Parks Naturalist, will begin a presentation on Indiana’s wild edible plants at 5 p.m. in the Exhibit Hall of the Earth Discovery Center, Eagle Creek Park, 5901 DeLong Road, Indianapolis, Indiana. Learn how to identify edible plants and toxic look-a-likes to aid in survival situations, expand your taste palate, and gain a better appreciation for native plants.

At 6 p.m. enjoy a catered, Mediterranean-themed dinner to celebrate the park’s second annual Wildflower Weekend along with Eagle Creek Park staff and hike leaders. Vegetarian and gluten-free options will be available to guests.

Reservations at $12 available online; sales end April 14, 2020.
