Herbs are the stars in featured menu items at restaurants in Newburgh, Indiana, tomorrow (April 8, 2017) during the annual Herb Festival, a seasonal highlight since the days of the Old Newburgh Country Store.
Saturday’s special events include:
* Robins Nest will have information and visuals about herbs at Town Hall throughout the day.
*Ted Kroeger of Kroeger Greenhouse will be at Town Hall at 1 p.m. to speak on selecting and growing herbs.
* A presentation Using Herbs in Essential Oils takes place at 3:30 p.m. at Town Hall.
Families can visit the kids potting station hosted at Décor & More in conjunction with Historic Newburgh and choose a leafy green plant to pot and take home to add to their own gardens.
