If you’re within striking distance of Willeston, North Dakota, you’ve still got time to hit the ninth annual Chokecherry Festival. It started yesterday (August 7, 2015) and continues today (August 8, 2015) in Harmon Park.
There’s a free pancake breakfast from 7:30 to 10 a.m. featuring chokecherry syrup. The pit-spitting contest starts at 11:30 a.m. The Chokecherry Shop opens at 9 a.m.
