Fig fanciers: get ready for the California Fig Fest. It takes place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. August 15, 2015, at California State University, 2485 East San Ramon Ave, Fresno, California
Savor gourmet fig-Inspired recipes, wines and craft brews from California chefs, food purveyors, wineries and breweries and meet the fig growers.
There’ll also be culinary demonstrations by Chef Fabio Viviani. Tickets are available online.
The annual event benefits Fresno State’s Ag One Ron Radoicich Scholarship and the Fresno County Sheriff’s Foundation.
