The Total Gowanus Immersion takes place from 1 to 7 p.m. June 6, 2015.
It’s sort of a cult event — a food and beer-fueled tour of Gowanus: the spot where the first Dutch settlers in what’s now New York staked their claim in the New World. Sponsor is the Brooklyn Brewery.
Tickets ($25) include four Brooklyn brews, lunch, and an envelope of WAM– “walking around money”– that entitles holders to deals at local shops and restaurants.
