Fine Art & Wine Affaire
An outdoor arts and crafts show is combined with wine tasting from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 13 through 15, 2014, along Avenue of the Fountains in Fountain Hills, Arizona.
It’s the 11th annual Fountain Hills Fine Art & Wine Affaire, co-sponsored by Thunderbird Artists and the Sunset Kiwanis of Fountain Hills.
Admission is $3; a wine tasting ticket with souvenir glass is $10.
About that fountain: it’s the fourth highest fountain in the world…a 560-foot tall surge of water bursts high into the sky with the look of fireworks as the water trails down into the man-made 28-acre lake set in the center of Fountain Hills. Pushing 7,000 gallons of water per minute, the fountain has the ability to project a stream of water as high as 560 feet in the air. It runs at the top of each hour for 15 minutes between 9 a.m.-9 p.m. and is visible from just about anywhere within the city limits.
