What better day for a wine tasting than Valentine’s Day.
Yes, Road Trips Foodies, “Romancing the Riesling” is set for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. February 14, 2015, by the Wineries of Old Mission Peninsula (where’s that? it “juts north between the azure arms of Lake Michigan’s Grand Traverse Bay”).
Participating Old Mission wineries will showcase their rieslings, served in souvenir wine glasses and paired with a food offering. Tickets at $20 each are available at the door.
