Learn, Shop + Taste
Headed to New York City next month, Road Trips Foodies? Saveur magazine is hosting a one-day-only fête to get you into the holiday spirit. The Holiday Social takes place December 13, 2014, in Astor Center, 399 Lafayette Street, New York, New York.
There are three sessions: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., 2 to 4 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. (A complete schedule is available on the event website.)
“Shop + Taste” access is the least expensive, at $45 per person. That ticket includes access for two hours to Shop + Taste, a Saveur canvas tote, complimentary gift-wrapping, premium giveaways and access to newly released signed cookbooks.
For “Learn, Shop & Taste” access, it’ll cost you $110 but you get a workshop with a pro (such as Craig Koketsu, pictured): an up-close demonstration, participation in do-it-yourself skills, and a chance taste the dishes featured and get copies of the recipes.

A portion of proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to our charity partner, Citymeals-on-Wheels.
