Is it a food or a decoration, Road Trips Foodies? Trick question, of course — the pumpkin is both — depending on the variety.
Celebrate the season at Pumpkinfest in South Lyon, Michigan, September 26 to 28, 2014.
For the first time in its 30year history, the fest is expanding into a three-day event. The fun kicks off Friday evening with the opening of the Beer Garten and live music. Live music will continue to entertain the community on Saturday night and during the day Sunday.
Located in downtown South Lyon, there’ll be the usual non-profit booths, craft show, children’s activities and entertainment. Look for the Pumpkinfest Parade on Saturday morning.
