Pumpkin Festival
It’s the 24th year for the Pumpkin Festival in downtown Keene, New Hampshire.
Jack o’ lanterns carved by schoolchildren will fill the square from noon to 8:30 p.m. October 18, 2014. There’s entertainment, of course, plus a tower of pumpkins said to rival the nearby church steeple.
Apple crisp and maple syrup cotton candy are among the specialties offered by food vendors.
Admission is a suggested donation of $5 per adult plus a carved pumpkin.
