Marlow Food Festival
If England’s on your travel schedule this month, consider stopping at the Marlow Food Festival, set for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. September 21, 2014, at Macdonald Compleat Angler Hotel, Marlow Bridge, Marlow, Buckinghamshire, England.
Now in its sixth year, the food fest features a cookery theater with local celebrity chefs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. plus 30 vendors offering not only food but fashion and crafts. Yasemen Kaner-White, author of The Lemon Compendium, will be signing copies of her book.
Headline chef is Michelin-starred Adam Simmonds from Danesfield House. Other demonstrations will feature pastry chef Stephen Glenister from Stephanie Almeida bespoke cakes. Blue Beer Company will be offering a chance to sample the Dutch Château Neubourg pilsner, while Spirited Wines will be hosting a whiskey tasting.
