Art & Apples Festival

michigan_rochester_applePresented by Paint Creek Center for the Arts (a nonprofit art center), the Art & Apples Festival is Michigan’s second largest juried fine art festival with an average attendance of over 200,000 festival-goers and 290 artists from across the country. The festival showcases artists from across the country, local entertainment acts, a free Kids Art Zone, Activity Zone and three food courts.

It’s this weekend — September 5 through 7, 2014, in Rochester Park, Sixth and Pine streets, Rochester, Michigan. Hours are 4 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 9 to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Road Trips Foodies will be interested in the eighth annual
Apple Pie & Dessert Contest kicking off at 11:30 a.m. Saturday.
