Ribberfest BBQ & Blues

Nothing like lazing by a river, listening to the blues and sampling great barbecue. That’s what’s on offer at “Ribberfest BBQ & Blues”, set for August 15 and 16, 2014, in Madison, Indiana.
The river is the Ohio; the blues include Taj Mahal, Power Plant Blues Band, Roy Rogers and the Delta Rhythm Kings — but, what’s most important for us Road Trips Foodies, the BBQ includes teams competing in seven categories: Chicken, Pork Ribs, Pork, Beef Brisket, Barbeque Sauce, Anything Butt, Dessert. (Of course it’s a Kansas City Barbeque Society-sanctioned event.)
