Hudson Valley Garlic Festival

Garlic farmers from all over New York’s Hudson River Valley converge on Saugerties this fall for the annual Hudson Valley Garlic Festival.
It’s set for September 27 and 28, 2014, and is organized by the Kiwanis club of Saugerties and the Garlic Festival Committee.
Although the chefs and other presenters who’ll be talking about garlic haven’t been announced for this year as of press time, you can see who came last year online. There’s also a marketplace where you can find all sorts of garlic-flavoed foods and gadgets (from garlic dog biscuits to a pottery garlic grating plate).
