Road Trips Foodies who are oyster fans already have October 19 and 20, 2013, circled on their travel calendars.
Those are the dates for the 33rd annual North Carolina Oyster Festival, to be held between 2nd Street and 3rd Street in Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina (map).
Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. October 19, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. October 20 (but don’t count on the oysters lasting that long).
It’s sponsored by the New Brunswick County Chamber of Commerce.
