Even Florida joins in the Oktoberfest fun with their own version — Jaxtoberfest — set for October 11 and 12, 2013, in Jacksonville, Florida.
Organizers promise “the best of Bavaria”, from beer and brats to chicken dances and polkas. It is, of course, a brew-centric fall celebration, so there’ll be plenty of beer not to mention hearty German cuisine, a variety of entertainment on multiple stages, and family-friendly fun for all ages.
The event will be hosted in the Shipyard property, along the St. John’s River in the heart of downtown Jacksonville.
