Bernese Alpine Cheese Championship

A panel of experts will gather at the Widi Sports Hall in Frutigen, Switzerland (map) September 14 and 15, 2013, to judge the 15th Bernese Alpine Cheese Championship.
They’ll be deciding the best Mutschli, Bernese Hobel and Bernese Alpkäse AOC cheeses.
Beginning at 10 a.m. September 15, there’ll be cheese tasting, an Alpine cheese market, demonstrations of cheese making, carriage rides, animal petting zoo, “Trychler” parade and refreshments with traditional folk entertainment and procession.
