Applefest in Pennsylvania

The 31st annual Applefest takes place October 4 through 6, 2013, in downtown Franklin, Pennsylvania (map).
Road Trips Foodies will want to time their arrival to partake in the Apple Pancake Breakfast set for 5 a.m. ’til noon October 4 in First United Methodist Church, 1100 Liberty Street, Franklin.
An apple cider press demonstration is set for noon until 3 p.m. both October 5 and 6 next to the Information Gazebo.
Entering a pastry? Pies for the Apple Pie Baking Contest must be delivered to the Pink Champagne Cupcakery, 1252 Liberty Street, Franklin, between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. (they must be in disposable pans).
