Sample the Sierra

If you’re planning to be in northern California this weekend, consider swinging by the fourth annual Sample the Sierra Festival, set for 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday (September 1, 2013) on Ski Run Boulevard, South Lake Tahoe, California.
The festival pairs local farmers with chefs who produce tasting samples, which are then paired with the appropriate wine or brew. A complete listing is online.
Tickets ($30 each) will be available at the door.
