Epicurience Virginia
“Epicurience Virginia” is a food and wine festival to be held August 30 through September 2, 2013, in Morven Park, 17263 Southern Planter Lane, Leesburg, Virginia (map).
Promised are award-winning wines from Virginia and farm-to-table cuisine prepared by chefs from around the country. Special (and separately ticketed) events include a champagne tea, Celtic-themed Highland Fling dinner, a how-to for herb garden simple syrups to use in cocktails and a Gospel brunch.
Among the personalities involved are Doug Fabbioli, winegrower (pictured); Todd Gray and Christopher Edwards, culinary advisors; Roberto Donna and Kazuhiro Okochi, chefs, and Sebastien Marquet, Jordan Harris, Nate Walsh and Justin Bogaty, winemakers.
General admission is $95 per person.
