San Francisco has a justifiably proud foodie reputation, and one of the newer trends is on view during the Street Food Fest, to be held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. August 17, 2013, in the city’s Mission District: specifically, on Folsom Street from 20th to 26th, 21st and 25th from Treat Street to Shotwell reet and in the Cesar Chavez Elementary School parking lot, the Parque de los Ninos Unidos and the Jose Coronada Playground.
Sponsored by La Cocina, it brings all of the best food (and music) in the Bay Area to one street, once a year, “to celebrate the talent, the taste and the entrepreneurial spirit of people who make a living doing what they love to do”.
