Since 2010, Chicago Pizza Tours has been taking beyond the big names and into the neighborhoods that Chicagoans call home on a guided bus tour of culturally significant and neighborhood pizzerias.
Being bus-driven provides the flexibility to travel to any restaurant in any neighborhood to try deep-dish, tavern-style, artisanal and Neapolitan (just to name a few). You’ll taste the hidden gems, mainstays and rising stars. You’ll visit the insides of kitchens, earn about ingredients, ovens and the physics of what makes each pizza special.
Advance purchase is required, and some tours do sell out. So, if you’re planning a drive to the Windy City, go online and reserve ahead. The “original” tour is $60 per person; add another $20 if you want the cocktail version.
