Hot Luck & Fiery Foods Marketplace
Salsas, sauces, dried and fresh spices, hot breads, chili powder, vinegars and pepper plants are promised by vendors participating in the Hot Luck & Fiery Foods Marketplace scheduled for April 13, 2013, in downtown Madison, Indiana.
There will be cooking demonstrations, too. Deadline for entering the Salsa Contest is 1 p.m., and the winners will be announced at 6 p.m.
The Marketplace is the centerpiece for a weekend-full of hot & fiery events sponsored by Thomas Family Winery.
The first event, Hot Luck, takes place beginning at 7 p.m. April 12, 2013, at the winery, 208 East Second Street, Madison, Indiana (map).
It’s a pitch-in picnic where Road Trips Foodies and other aficionados will bring hot dishes to show off their culinary skills. Expected are dishes from Africa, South America and India as well as Texas and the American Southwest.
It all concludes with a Jazz Brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 14, 2013.
