A Foodie Treat at a Flower Show
Road Trips Foodies>/A> are being lured to the Chicago Flower and Garden Show taking place March 9 through 17, 2013, at Navy Pier, Chicago, Illinois (map).
To be more specific: we’re being lured on March 17, 2013. That’s when the frosting and fondant will fly as “Garden Gourmet” is transformed into the Chicago Area Retail Bakers Association’s (CARBA) “Cake Studio,” for the annual cake decorating regional finals contest.
Chicagoland bakers will inspire other professionals as well as amateurs as they compete with their finished delights and create new pieces live on the show floor.
