Valentine’s Day!
Are you anywhere near Brooklyn, New York, Road Trips Foodie? Here’s the perfect Valentine’s Day event for you — singular or plural.
From 7 until 11 p.m. this event in unit #C8 of the Gowanus Loft, 61 Ninth Street, Brooklyn, New York (map), is a Chaos Cooking session billed as “A Red-Hot Valentine’s Day Event”.
Of course, it helps if you live nearby (or are traveling in your RV) because you need to BYO everything (utensils, pots + pans, recipe ingredients, a bottle of wine to share). Since it’s February 14, do dress in red, cream or black.
The goals (other than meet and mingle) are to cook a dish to share (and clean up afterwards, of course). Go online to lineup a ticket you can claim on site.
This evening’s session is hosted by Gowanus Girls, a local creative arts and community events organization. They’re adding music by DJ Misbehaviour, goodies by Babeland, photo booth fun by Magnolia Photo Booth and beer by Brooklyn Brewery.
