Soup It Up!
Now, here’s an event bound to warm even the coldest traveling foodie: it features soups served up by master chefs in Minot, North Dakota — a place that knows winter.
And, winter it will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. February 2, 2013, for Soup It Up! It takes place in the Taube Museum of Art, 2 North Main Street, Minot, North Dakota (map) and the first 200 who purchase tickets will receive a handcrafted ceramic bowl. (You can buy tix online after January 18, 2013; they’re $16.).
There will be live music and a silent auction, a portion of the proceeds from which will benefit the Minot State University Ceramics Department Scholarship Fund. MSU Ceramics Department faculty and students, and Hi-Performance Ceramics will have handcrafted pottery available for purchase on the tables and in the Museum Gift Shop.
Proceeds from Soup It Up! support the Taube Museum.
