Stone crabs, shrimp, clam strips, scallops and chowder are just a few of the food offerings at the fifth annual Stone Crab Jam to be held November 3, 2012, on the south side of Citrus Avenue “all the way to the waterfront at Kings Bay Park” in Crystal River, Florida.
It kicks off at 4 p.m. with music on three stages plus food and craft vendors, beer, wine and soft drinks. Tickets are $5 (if you want to be a VIP, that’s $50).
Nine contestants will be competing in the Chowder Cookoff, with the winner determined by public vote.
It’s all sponsored by the Rotary Club of Crystal River – Kings Bay.
