What could be better than beer, sausage and polka music?
These German favorites are promised at the third annual Bestfest at Marktplatz in Fredericksburg, Texas, on October 20, 2012.
Polka music will be provided by Fritz Hodde and the Fabulous Six and The Seven Dutchmen Orchestra. The beer and sausage will come from “the best Texas sausagemakers” and local craft breweries.
Starting at 11 a.m., the entry fee ($10 adults, $5 kids 12 and under) will get you all the sausage, sauerkraut and German potatoes you can eat. Beer tasting tickets are $2 for eight ounces or $4 for 16 ounces. It’s sponsored by the local Knights of Columbus.
