It’s not often that a Road Trips Foodie can score great German cuisine at a drive-through restaurant window.
But, if you’re traveling anywhere near Jasper, Indiana (map), between 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. October 7, 2012, swing by the Schnitzelbank Restaurant, 393 Third Avenue (map).
For $10, you can pick up your choice of fried chicken, braetzel or pulled pork BBQ, plus German fries, baked beans, slaw and dessert.
Proceeds benefit the German student exchange program of Sister Cities of Jasper.
