National Shrimp Festival

Those of us Road Trips Foodies who are seafood lovers are making plans to head to the National Shrimp Festival at Gulf Shores, Alabama, October 11 through 14, 2012.
The festival, which takes place along the Gulf Shores Public Beach area (map), features fresh Gulf shrimp served alongside vendors offering fine arts and crafts.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
